We are developing a unique children and young people complex health respite care centre in London with the focus on family enrichment, personal achievements and fun.
It will be directed by Nicki Nicholls ESCN, END 430, ENB 160, ENB 998.
Nicki Nicholls life’s work has been committed to the philosophy of “Every child matters” and the five Outcomes for children: Be healthy, Stay safe, Enjoy and achieve, Make a positive contribution, Achieve economic well being.
With over thirty years of experience in the NHS, local authorities and private sector, she oversees a team of Clinical Nurse Mangers, Paediatric Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who are highly skilled and competent in the intricacies of caring for children and young people.
We will accommodate those with a wide variety of complex health needs who are technology and/or wheelchair dependent. Each child and young person has their care individually planned with the focus on them both achieving and having fun whilst in our care.
Siblings will be welcome and respite needs are facilitated to help enrich family life in the home and community.
The centre will be able to implement a rapid response care plan quickly for service commissioners and local authorities where urgent safeguarding needs arise and immediate action is necessary.
Nicki looks forward to welcoming everyone and providing long or short term respite care as well as rehabilitation following illness or injury.
