Continuing Professional Development is fundamental to the development of all health care workers and the enhancement of family care.
Nurses and care workers core competencies are reviewed annually by Clinical Educators.
Child specific competencies
Child specific competencies are assessed on introduction to an assignment and on an annual basis by our Clinical Educators.
Clinical assessments of your work will be carried out during the year. These clinical assessments are carried out by a paediatric nurse while you are undertaking a care assignment and without notice. A full report will be issued by the assessor to our Clinical Nursing Team to consider where improvements and additional training may be required.
